It was my first time in the capital and I was impressed by the buildings and layout but more impressed with the aceess to my representatives. We were there to lobby for bills A.4881 & S.4294 which would lower the A1 misdemeanor jail time from 365 days to 364 days #onedaymatters. This would allow immigration judges some discretion in cases of deportation. These minor crimes should not negate a person's entire history of doing the right thing. With the statue at present guidelines a person will be punished too harshly for one minor incident. Too many families are being torn asunder under this unfair sentence. #onedaymatters
