We had chosen something special for New Year's Eve...
We had chosen something special for New Year's Eve and booked four nights plus the gala dinner on New Year's Eve at the Boscolo. Unfortunately we were very disappointed that evening. After the third course we left the room ... The service was absolutely not 5-star justice. We had to refill wine ourselves, the food was cold, the next course came even though the plate hadn't been cleared, at 9 p.m. we hadn't eaten anything even though it was supposed to start between 8 and 8.30 p.m. A mess among the service staff. Sorry but that doesn't work ... especially not at the price of 175 p.p. We weren't the only ones complaining at reception ... we didn't pay anything, just the wine. But it was the only good thing that evening.
Room clean. Breakfast ok. But really 5 stars? No.
Housekeeping and doorman do a good job. In the service everyone still has a lot to catch up on ...
Expectations not met at all.
