Worst trip I have ever had. When I arrive I was asked by the parking attendant if I had a seasons pass with parking, which I did. They scanned the mail I was sent (as I had not gotten into the park to get my card yet), which clearly indicated I had a gold pass. It would not scan, so they charged me 25 dollars to park in handicapped parking anyway. Great start. Get into the park ok and went about our 1.5 days there. for 4 people we spent about a thousand dollars, this is for food for 2 days, flash passes for 1 day, and horror nights VIP for 1 day (we had to have both flash passes and VIP because we had a member who could not stand in lines, otherwise I would not recommend these in general, they are far too expensive for what you get). While on a ride someone took one of our soda bottles, a purple one that has free refills for next year as well, these are very expensive (it came with one of the meal plans we purchased but i think individually they charge like 20 for them). We go to guest services because we hope they can provide us with a replacement, we knew it might not happen but I Did have all my receipts and at the end of the day these things probably cost them 3 dollars and customer satisfaction drives sales. What I did not expect was the guest relations person to have a slumped posture, tilted head, and no personality or empathy. Explained the situation, she stated 'we provide lockers, if your stuff gets stolen it's not our problem' - note they do not 'provide' lockers, the 'offer' lockers for 5 dollars for a 2 hour rental. She was so uncaring about this I had to ask if they even cared about theft in the park, she actually shrugged and said 'not really'. I found this to be outrageous, I mean behind closed doors they can think what they want, but customer facing service should be better than this! I told her I probably wasn't going to be coming back if this was their attitude with guests, she replied 'whatever'. before I even got out of earshot she turned to the other guest relations person and said 'another *expletive* scammer'. I was livid and that was the end of my trip. and pretty much any future trip. There were some great actors/entertainers there, and about half the ride workers were nice, the other half and pretty much anyone working the food were less than stellar. Overall the park just doesn't seem to care about you, only your money, which is fair I guess but at least pretend. This used to be a yearly trip for us, and they have gotten thousands out of my pockets over the last 5 years or so, but never again. I already drive 6 hours to get there I might as well tack on a couple more and see if New York or New Jersey have better parks since I already have the seasons pass for next year as well.
