The hotel is a well-frequented business hotel in the interesting Spreebogen. In the warm season it certainly has its charms as a starting point for tours of Berlin discovery. Unfortunately our stay was not a good star.
In addition to the fact that we were given a different room than the booked one on arrival, the obvious rudeness of the receptionist annoyed us even more, and it turned out that she did not know her hotel.
After a long and frustrating discussion, she gave us the booked room on another floor. After the move it turned out that this is the same room only on a different floor. She could only be convinced of this fact through a personal inspection. The first night was not relaxing, the air conditioning made noises that made us unable to sleep.
Moving to another room the next day didn't make things any better either. In this the air conditioning didn't work at all. A hotel room without heating in November is an imposition for the guest.
In contrast, the organization, the friendliness and attention of the team in the breakfast restaurant should be emphasized. The same applies to the quality, the richness, the freshness and variety of the breakfast buffet.
To compensate us for the trouble, the parking fees for the underground car park were waived. Thank you.
