Edward Przychocki Review of Tim Hortons
Being the very first Tim's is worth something, so ...
Being the very first Tim's is worth something, so yes it was grand to see it. The brass plaque is outside on the wall for anyone to see. I have a buddy who grew up in the neighbourhood who was there, or so he says (no way to prove it, ha) on opening day - 1964 April 17th if I remember correctly ,,, maybe not. The building is showing its years, not too many seats, washroom quite small, but that's what happens when a building is fifty years old. A joy to see just for the nostalgia of the place. Besides the Toronto Maple Leafs, Tim Horton's team, were still winning at the time ... can't say that now. Haven't won since 1967 ! Here's to your vision Mr. Horton.
