I have visited Kennedy Space Center before and I can honestly say that the experience has gotten better with time. The bus tour and Saturn V/ Apollo Center are informative without being dry. The Atlantis exhibit with the Shuttle Launch Experience are really good. The simulated launch is a one of a kind experience. I only wish there was better signage for park hours and estimated wait times.
