It is a very huge and well laid out zoo and has a great oceanarium !!! I felt some cages were small, though the animals are looked after well.
As it is next to the train station, public transport is the best you can do.
Totally worth a visit with kids and there are 3 playgrounds as well ! I was there in the summer of 2011...
