Excellent restaurant. During a tour of Barcelona, the guide mentioned it, the king of Spain himself dined in it. My husband and I decided to visit such a famous institution, and did not regret it. The staff is polite, courteous, serve very quickly. The food is amazing. And the prices are at an acceptable level. I liked everything.
The food was great, I can t complain about it but the service was not great. I have to reach to the waitress all the time and he always go away in the middle of the conversation. The place is so crowded as well as noisy. If you are looking for a peaceful place, just don t go but if you want to get drunk and have fun, it is the place

Service is super slow. We waited for 1 hour to have the first course! But food is super tasty and home made like. Suckling pig is delicious
Great recommendation for a great restaurant that is very old with lots of charm. Service was spectacular and the food was delicious. We had the peppers, sauteed vegetables, sangria and garlic shrimp to start. The main course of paella and roasted chicken were delicious. If your looking for great paella, chicken and service this is the place.

Very unique place. But unless you walk by all place you do not see the real place - uh and ancient. The minus is for the charge of bread... few small pieces are 4 euros.... this must be complimentary. Food. Tasty and you see and feel the old time recipes. While visiting Barcelona this is a must to visit place!!!
