Lots of ups and downs with this place. One strike against them off the top for advertising airport shuttles when they don't have one! I called in advance to arrange for pickup as recommended on their site and was told they don't have a shuttle. WTH?

DAY ONE
Upon arrival, the bellman/concierge, Ricardo, was very welcoming and helpful. In fact, everyone was super jive (Jesse, John) However, the man at the counter (Lewis?) was not. He appeared bored and rattled off questions and instructions at top speed with no inflection, no interest, no eye contact and no pleasantries. At all.

This place was a surprise. Reasonably priced, small but well-appointed rooms. Great use of space. They've thought of almost every creature comfort you'd expect in a hotel... and some you'd NEVER expect. (Couples... there's a surprise kit available for purchase in the room. *one eyebrow raised*) There are a few nice extras included in the room price (happy hour, VERY nice robes, 2 lounge chairs & umbrella, etc.)

DAY TWO
The bed was extremely comfortable but the room was in dire need of soundproofing. I could hear EVERY NOISE. Drawers opening & closing, low conversations, people walking on the floor above me... Not. Good.

The elevator was out of service all 3 days so I never got a chance to experience the rooftop pool area (bad knees). The cable was off more times than it worked.

I called the front desk to arrange for housekeeping to clean the room since I was asleep when they came earlier in the day. Lewis called back and very apologetically explained that housekeeping left early...4 HOURS early. However, he did send the very pleasant bellman, Ricardo, by with towels, soap, etc. to help.

Would I recommend? Not until these issues are addressed. This place has lots of potential but they are not reaching it. Remember, be sure to arrange for your own airport transfers no matter what the website and Travelocity say.
