Stayed at Carlton for 6 night. The moment we arrived with our car, no one helped us unload it and then they left our luggage for over an hour in the sun while we were are our room waiting for them and called 3 times. Our luggage of course had cosmetics inside that were melted due to the direct sunlight and hot weather. Rooms are very old, mattresses and pillows should have been replaced years ago, our bathroom had a clogged bathtub so we had to wash having our feet in 5cm of water, one of the cleaners left a dirty cloth inside my toiletry bag which is disgusting, even more now days, having this cloth touching my toothbrush and my cosmetics.
People were smoking weed in their room so in most floors the smell was really bad and in the smell was coming into the room too. No sound proof rooms as we could hear everything from other rooms in other floors. Service was terrible, no room service, valet service cost 45 euros per night and it took them at least 20 minutes to bring our car. Beach service was charged extra, at prices ranges between 65-150 euros even if you were a hotel guest. Service at the breakfast was extremely slow and staff was arrogant too. There was a lot of noise during the day as there is construction at the back of the hotel.
Definitely not a 5 star hotel experience, waste of time and money.
