I appreciated the pricing of books on this site, but I was dissatisfied with the customer service I received. I paid $18 for next business day shipping, and my book wasn't there the next day.
When I called to resolve the issue, the woman on the phone was not well versed in customer service skills. She initially hung up on me "because the call was echoey" despite the fact I had only said hello. When I called back, she informed me that she wasn't certain why the book hadn't been processed. She put me on hold to investigate the issue. After being on hold for five minutes, I was informed that I had placed the order "too late in the day to have it arrive on time," even though there was no disclaimer online when I ordered the book.
After waiting a week and still having not received my book, I called to cancel my order. When I first called, I was immediately put on hold. I hung up and called again. I was again put on hold again for 10 minutes while the woman on the phone "investigated the issue with my order." The line began to make strange sounds, almost like water running. I hung up and called back. This time, I was finally informed my order was cancelled.
I never received the book, and it took lots of my time to fix the issue. I would not order from this bookstore unless you like having your time wasted.
