Based on a day trip, I had an amazing time at Cape Henlopen. Loved that there were not many people when I came (it was on and off very rainy but cleared up right when we got here)Explored the history and some of the lighthouses, etc. Roamed the beaches as if we were the only ones here. So relaxing! I have heard that camping here is not as relaxing and that things have changed for the worse over the years-also that campsites are way too close together and that a bike is needed. Still deciding if I should give camping a try. Maybe it was just a good day but my first experience here was great. We later watched wind surfers and closed the day by watching an amazing sunset by the fishing pier.
