This is a very elegant hotel. I am grateful to have a friend drag me along and pay for a room for 5 nights. The beds are comfortable and the restrooms are chic. Also the courtyard and breakfast room/bar are elegant. The staff is friendly classy and welcoming too. From staying on other hotels in my lifetime, the Ambrose's number 1 feature is its outstandingly healthy breakfast options on its buffet - especially for the fact that it's in a beach destination. The beach is 2 miles away (according to Google maps). I find it a good excercise walk, and I Ubered in time crunch circumstances. The Uber map is like flies on a screen door, so a ride to the beach is fast to arrive and low-cost-by-the-unit-ride. BUT WARNING: Uber is so excessively and comfortably reliable that it is ADDICTIVE here and trips really seriously add up. Using Uber to squeeze in a lot of fun and activities totalled me (including well deserved tips) a cost of about 150 dollars. For the most part, the hotel is a terrific place to stay. The reason I can't give it a full 5 stars is that it's fitness center did not have any safe quality upper body workout equipment, which it has standard lower body workout and cardio equipment but those areas are covered by the long walks to tbe beach. To my opinion, a beach hotel should have a quality gym because beach visitors want their bodies at their best on a beach trip. Overall, I would still quite strongly recommend this hotel for its quietness, classy staff, nice rooms, and espcially for the breakfast buffet.
