My father has been at Montefiore for over a year. He has been very well taken care of. The staff is very kind and nice. The food is above average. Sometimes, it is a little understaffed, which is true of all of these places. The staff is always available and helpful. The only thing I would change is if they provided transportation to doctors appointments outside of the facility. A lot of the residents are in wheelchairs and have limited mobility. It costs $100-300 to get a ride within a 5 mile radius in a wheelchair van. They do, however, provide an aide to go with my father if I can't go with him. I am very happy with Montefiore.
