The day surgery staff is a joke. My father had a colonoscopy scheduled for today 4/19 a day prior to this he spent the entire day fasting. Which is splendid if they would have kept his appointment. We showed up today to be informed that his appointment had been rescheduled. The receptionist then went to get another lady who came out to tell us she had personally called but the phone she called had no voicemail set up. When we verified the number it was NO WHERE NEAR my dads phone number. Mind you they had my dads number on file but policy is they call the first number. My father is older, has high blood pressure so for him to have to miss work, not eat, drive out of his way to be told that. This was a complete waste of time. Show your staff empathy, you re a hospital not a little clinic.
