I would not recommend this pathetic excuse for a company to my worst enemy. I had an absolutely terrible experience from the word go, with the end result was being out of pocket by $1,500.00 for 2 months, and no PC to show for it.
The original order took 17 days to be made available, because the case I selected was out of stock. Was I told this item was out of stock? Of course not. I had to query what the delay was before they told me this, at which point I had to adjust my order. I then selected a case with an in-built PSU, so they arranged to refund me the amount that I had already paid for an independent PSU. This refund never came. When I picked it up, they had installed original PSU into the new case. I cannot understand why on Earth they did this. I then spent 20 minutes in the scorching heat waiting for them to fix their blunder.
After getting gome, I encountered nothing but issues for several anxiety-filled days. I spent hours trying to fix these issues, but ended up giving in, and arranging to return it for repairs. So I take a second trip out to Sunshine to have it repaired (which took them 3 days, despite initially being told by the guy at the service desk it would be ready in 24 hours - given that it was a brand new purchase, and would therefore be treated with priority).
It turns out they gave me a faulty graphics card, and a faulty optical drive. It is beyond my comprehension how a company that feeds their families on the backs of custom-built PCs could have supplied not one, but two faulty pieces of hardware. So, after a third trip to Sunshine to collect it, I finally have my PC again.
They tell me they've replaced the faulty hardware.
They tell me they've done a clean install of Windows.
They tell me they've installed all the drivers.
They assure me that there's no issues.
I turn it on, click through a few simple setup options like inputting the CD key, connecting to the internet etc. and it re-starts.
I try again, again it restarts.
15 attempts later I give up.
I call Centrecom again, and tell them that the PC is having issues, again. They suggest I drive back down there (for a fourth time), I tell them I am not driving down there ever again, and that they need to arrange for it to be collected. So what happens? They send me an e-mail with directions on how I can arrange the courier. After all this, they pass the buck to me to deal with a third party and arrange the collection.
So at this point I've given up, and all I want is my money back. A bank transfer should take no more than 3 business days, but of course I waited 3 weeks for them to return my money. When I followed up the refund I was given blunt replies, and told that it was with their accounts team.
Altogether this process took almost 2 months.
2 months where I was out of pocket.
2 months stressing over their mistakes.
(I only gave them 1 star so I could post this review, they don't even deserve that)
