It's the Metropolitan Opera House. In New York City. Prepare yourself for a real treat. Highly recommend going all out and dressing to the nines (black tie optional; a proper suit or lovely dress would be just perfect). Oh, and the bar on the mezzanine level is usually less busy and you can walk out on the balcony facing Lincoln Center and the fountain.
