A must-see on the space Coast. COVID update Sept 2020
This is the heart and soul of the space program and one of the places where America launched, and launches, people and items into space. It is open with specific COVID restrictions. There is plenty of parking. Costs for tickets to enter are $57 with an annual pass about $90. There is plenty of parking. All personnel must wear masks and get a temperature screening to enter. There are at least 4 things that you probably want to see while you are there: The IMAX, Shuttle, Memorial and gift shop. The IMAX is open with spaced out seating. There were at least 2 different movies that were showing when we went. The shuttle experience was open and well worth going. The movie presentation and display is very original and well done. The memorial is tucked behind the IMAX theater closest to the road. The gift shop is in the center of the complex hard to miss. There are definitely other items to see but those are the ones that I liked the most when I visited. Overall, the complex is a must see to see the past and present of the American space program. Enjoy
