Nasty unsanitary ..... My son was admitted to the ICU last night but before we were taken to the PEDs we were placed in a dirty room with bloody needles blood on the counter near the phone ....the nurse asked me to call kaiser to notify them we were transported to harbor... I explained that the phone cord and the area needed to be cleaned due to the bloody tissue being right next to the phone...she told me in a very nasty tone that if I wanted the room cleaned my son would be in the hallway and would've been seen .... Because they just had a accident call before we arrived and they didn't have time to clean the room ..... I don't appreciate the conduct nor the conditions this hospital wants us to accept ... When I ask to speak to a supervisor none were called nor did they make any attempts to clean the room while we waited for over an hour .... I took several pictures of the filthy room too bad I can't post them ... Greedy hospitals trying to get all the emergency calls and are not prepared .... I'm a kaiser member and hope to god I'm never transported here again emergency room staff are were rude ....
