They couldn't find my computer's problem and they ...

They couldn't find my computer's problem and they also lied straight to my face in short.
It all began when I rang up to describe my computer's problem to Allen at Centre Com Sunshine. I told him my pc has been getting a blue screen after about 30 minutes of gaming then a restart and everything is all good again. He said bring it in, 100% it's a windows issue. It costed $90 for a windows reinstall and driver wipe. I rang two days later after dropping it off to see what the progress was. Allen told me on the phone I should have been called yesterday. Anyhow I go there to collect my pc and he said the pc is all good now. I then queried Allen on why I wasn't called, he has the cheek to say to me "we called you but no one picked up" I then said I return any missed calls and I hadn't received a missed call from them. He then says "we tried to leave a message but your voicemail isn't activated". My voicemail has been working on that phone for over 5 years. There's not much worse you can do to a paying customer than lie straight to their face. Instead of fessing up a small error in relation to not calling me, to cover his mistake he lies to me and then continues to run with it. What an insult that is, for him to think I will actually believe such a lie is actually astounding.

Moving on, I take the pc back home and I tested the pc again by gaming to see if it would blue screen, it did. I rang up after it and queried Allen as to why it was still getting a blue screen, he proceeded to quickly google the issue and found a thread of some random person having a similar issue essentially saying that is just how it is. As if I hadn't taken the initiative to google my issue prior to ever dropping my pc off at their service centre or anything. I brought it in again to fix the issue once more and I suggested that a hardware diagnostics test should be run because Allen couldn't come up with anything. $75 cost by the way. I left it there on a Friday just to get it out of the way, Allen quoted me that by the following Thursday it should be ready and then I asked him when I should call just to check it's progress and he says if we don't ring by Friday call us.

After this conversation that was the last I heard of or saw Allen. Another employee by the name of Justin rings me in the early afternoon on Monday to let me know the pc is ready and everything is fixed. I promptly went to the service centre and he said it needed a bios update and new thermal paste for the cpu. Instead of charging $75 he charged me $45, sus huh? Anyway after taking it home again I still got a blue screen. I rang the next day and he said you can bring it in if you want. I brought it in and I had him try and figure out the problem there because it was obvious they hadn't actually physically taken out the GPU and swapped it for another or anything to actually diagnose the system's issue as that's what I asked him to do when I was there on the Tuesday. My feeling is that they just ran it through programs to stress test it, that's it. Not actually swap out parts and so on to check for faulty hardware. Funnily enough the GPU works fine and all so I then suggested maybe it's best to upgrade to windows 10 see if that fixes it. I then took it home to upgrade it and I still got the blue screen. Now after leaving that was the last I have been there or talked to them. I figured out my own issue and they never even had a clue. My pc only blue screens when I run two monitors, something they never bothered to ask me about. They never fully investigated the issue at hand. In reality they should be asking all these questions about the system, the only question they ever asked was are you overclocking, which I wasn't.

In conclusion, I figured out my pc's issue even though on their site they claim they can fix all issues, BSOD's etc. If you can't fix it don't lead the customer on. They have no love for what they're doing. I'll never go back and those who know me know of my story. Such a negative experience, lied to and issue was not fixed by them.
