Anyone who expects something extraordinary considering the 4 stars will be disappointed.
The hotel advertises with a view of the Spree. If you are unlucky, you get a totally shabby basement hole with a spiral staircase to the ground floor - where pedestrians can look directly into the room. Every corner in the room is round and all the furniture is chipped or scratched. In the bathroom, the joints in the shower are moldy, the cistern is held together by a little silicone. The hotel should be closed and the rooms completely renovated. I've lived in better-kept youth hostels.
The staff is friendly ... but with many customers it gets into a tailspin. The staffing level seems too thin.
The breakfast and breakfast room are very good and fun. The price / performance ratio is right here.
The location - 300 m to the S-Bahn stop is a really good connection. You can reach the main station in a few minutes.
To be fair, you have to say - for 4 stars the house is quite cheap.
The in-house restaurant Lanniger is fun. The offer is not big but very good. The cook is a master of his craft.
