I didn't feel pressured or pushed into a specific direction. I let the salesman, Andy, know my budget and "wish list". We found a few possibilities on the lot and I found a car that I liked and met my criteria. Andy handed me the keys and said "go ahead, take it for a spin".

I'm glad to see that car buying has evolved into a much more pleasant experience.

When it came time to pay, I thought there would be a lot of pressure to buy the expensive "extras" that I didn't want. I'm happy to say that while I did buy the extended warranty, I wasn't pressured to buy the ones I didn't want.
