My wife and I were at this resort for 3 nights and 4 days, October 22nd - 25th. We chose the All inclusive package at a rate of $386 a night (which included a 15% gratuity added to any meal or drink - which is a amazing adage to know that the servers are receiving tips even if you choose not to add any extra cash - we like to do anyways). Anyone choosing to stay at this resort should pick the all-inclusive, simply because for the four days that we were there, we tallied a over $1,200 food and beverage total.

The food was amazing as well as the friendly servers even though the speed of the servers were on what some would call "Island time". I would highly suggest that you order at least two drinks to hold you off. But I highly suggest that you try the fish tacos!

When it comes time for drinks, look for the server named 007! Be careful though, because if you want to drink made right, make sure that you don't double up on your portions because you will get exactly what you ask for.

Right under the restaurant area where you will eat, you will find a very well maintained pool that is NOT over chlorinated with a swim up bar (the wife and I spent a good portion of the day there... 007 did us right!

When it's time for water excursions, head over and see Nate! One of the most friendly people I have ever met. He will shoot you straight and tell you what you need and what you don't.

Now here is this portion of what we found to be not exactly discouraging or a deal killer in any way (considering the amazing all inclusive price), but to help anyone looking to stay here on what to expect.

Anyone staying at a resort most likely will ONLY be using the room to rest and recover from the long days and nights, and given the condition of the room we had stayed in, we too did not spend much time in it.

You'll have to consider that this property is over 30 years old, and is very outdated in many aspects. I'm sure there may have been other rooms that may have been in a nicer condition, but the room we were upgraded for free (which was a ocean view ground level room) needed quite a bit of work. Keep in mind, everything did work and we had no problems with any of the amenities, just the fact that it was very dated and some things needed to be "patched and painted".

Even though there were plenty of relaxing chairs and umbrellas to choose from, the beach was very small and there was at least half of it that could not be walked on without some type of protective footwear.

Overall my wife and I were very pleased with our stay, and with the customer service that we received as well as a amazing value for what we spent, I can see us returning to enjoy a even longer stay on that resort, especially if I get to hang out with Nate.
