Dr. Joung Lee of the neurosurgery department was amazing. My mom had mvd surgery at the Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center. Dr. Lee was great and we were so fortunate to have him. He took time to explain the surgical process, he made my mom feel confident about choosing to have surgery and he was diligent about filling in the family members before and after the surgery, as well as the next few days during her recovery at the hospital. He even took his time to come find me multiple times to update me on my mom's condition and walked me to her recovery room (even though I was told to just check in at the nurse's station to find out where she gets moved to after the surgery). The staff were very kind and made my mom as comfortable as she could be and took their time speaking with her and the family members. It's been a pleasant experience during a troubling situation.
