We delivered our 4th child at Genesys. There was a lot of discussion in the NICU about procedures and who could do what. The staff seemed confused and stressed. They could not find my newborns measurements so they started measuring him again. They had trouble with our heart ultrasound so they had to do it twice, but the second time was right in the middle of our next feed. We let them know but they didn't seem to care. When my wife did get a chance to breast feed our son, the new nurse that started her shift asked me to step aside and interrupted my sons feed. She was loud and more concerned with asserting her power than being helpful. The hospital we transferred too was much better than our experience at Genesys. We felt more like prisoners than patients.
