My mother had cataract surgery back in Jan/Feb. Both eyes. She needed a follow up and eye exam for glasses. She is 84, disabled, and has some dementia. I explained this to them several times and was told that I was allowed to come with her. We finally get an appointment and I drive all the way over there today only to find out that they will not allow me in with her!! I love Dr. Falkenberg and so does my mom. But after months of waiting for an appointment, being told on the phone that I can go back with her, and then getting there today and being denied, we will never be back.
I understand COVID-19 issues. But this is not acceptable for the disabled and handicapped.
We already found another eye doctor and have an appointment.
