Christopher Sanchez Review of John Eagle Honda of Dallas

My wife and I first came here, when we were looking to trade in and upgrade a vehicle YEARS ago. However, we were not given the time of day of talking any business. They didn't even try to do a soft credit check to give us a chance. So, we went to a different Honda dealership where we upgraded BOTH cars. Now, we usually get the whole package in terms of warranty and the good thing about the ETHOS service package is that we can get it done at ANY Honda dealership. Or so we thought.... John Eagle is the closest dealership to us. I had taken my wife's car here because of the TPMS light coming on. They checked it and said it was fine and put some air in it. In about a week, the light came back on again. This time my wife took the car and she WAITED 30 minutes in the car until someone attended here. NO ONE WAS IN FRONT OF HER. Someone eventually acknowledged her (one of the cleaning crew) and the car was checked. They came back and said that there was a nail in the tire and that the service warranty had already expired. This just so happened to be the day AFTER we originally took it in. So... we had to purchase another tire. I sense a sale strategy here and I don't feel like they were thorough for a reason... continue reading.
Because of commute convenience, I have also taken my car here for the same reason. Only this time I had to wait 1.5 hours to get my tires checked. They did acknowledge that there was a nail in my tire and they had patched it and put air in it. When my vehicle was ready the TPMS light was still on. The guy said it would go away... I know it had to be calibrated but I gave him the benefit of the doubt. 3 days later... the light comes on AGAIN. Luckily, I was at Costco and I had their tire service center check it. The tire that was affected was not properly patched and ALL my tires were under the pressure requirement. Everything was below 28! They are all supposed to be 32!
I honestly feel this place will judge you for their business needs. It's exactly what they made us feel. We tried and gave them one too many chances. And if you come here to get service... go somewhere so that they can double check their work. If they can't service a tire well, it makes me wonder what else they can do wrong.
