It's okay. After all the praise that was said about it, we had expected a lot. However, it was very disappointing to us. The staff are generally top notch, but we felt slightly ripped off at times. Having to pay a lot extra while it was sometimes not worth it at all (dinner on the beach for example. 25 euros PP (!!) Extra paid which was not worth the total in terms of food / service) and for example the juices. The rest of the food was okay but we generally ate more to eat than we liked (and we are very easy eaters anyway). The restaurants are a nice idea. Chez Pascal is great and we thought this was worth the money (although incorrect amounts were stated to us at the checkout at the end of the holiday). Dolce vita restaurant was below average and marhaba was a nice experience with fine food. The alcoholic cocktails were either boozy or incredibly expensive. Furthermore, it is stated in the room and in the booklet "we are in the desert, water is precious" but the trees and plants are watered 24/7 and our bottles were replaced every day instead of having to fill them (in itself a wonderful service, but very ambiguous). We were in the cabins by the beach (6002) and our cleaner was a great guy (may also be mentioned :)). What we also found very unfortunate was the fact that a lot is done here with laying towels ...
This was my 4th time in Egypt but unfortunately the worst experience so far.

* Edit after hotel management response; I somehow can't add a comment, so just like that. The reason I adjusted it is that one night we were playing cards on the balcony and smoking shisha and the entertainment team doing their usual round of talking to people just before their show. One of the entertainers asked if he could use my phone. Yes, of course you can. He showed some things and then posted a review here with 5 stars. I decided to change this because we did not agree with this at the time, but you cannot delete the review at that time. However, I wanted to substantiate my opinion. It sounds vague, but it really happened.

It may well be that we have just experienced the wrong things or were there at the wrong time. However, it was disappointing to us, especially after all the positive reactions. It's nice that this hotel is it all for many people, but it's not ours and we probably won't be back.
