Genesys at one time was a great hospital. But they have gone to a hospitalist system and hospitalist do not care about patients. They do not respect the primary cares wishes or the family. I used to think McLaren was the bottom of the barrel for hospitals in this area, and they do still have the worse nursing staff you will find. But Genesys has won the title of the worse place for medical care around, with the most unbelievably awful doctors. Sick human beings do not matter, they are only dollar signs in their eyes. The nurses are their only saving grace, but they can only do so much when no one else cares at all.
