Menard's customer service is the worse!!! I purchase two fans for my new home which when the electrician saw then told to return them. I had my receipt and the items are brand new never opened. I lost my debit card which is the one I purchased the items with but I have the receipts. They told me that I need the actual card that I bought them with to get a refund if not I can only get store credit. There is nowhere in the receipt that says I have to have the debit card to get a refund. I show them the bank transaction and the manager said can't override the system. I asked him to talk to someone in higher management he pretended to go to the phone. He didn't call the management. He call the police whom later came and told me they called him because I'm disturbing the peace by not accepting the policy and I would get arrested for disorderly conduct. I never screamed or did anything but say that I don't want store credit I paid cash basically and I want my money. I refuse to give anymore of my money to that company. The manager never took the time to actually call and get an authorization to refund me the cash even after he spoke with my bank. They refused to receive the items back. I purchased less than 30 days ago!!!! I'm filling a complain to corporate. This is the worse thing can be done to a customer call the police instead of calling their superiors....
