Tuesday, November 28th of this week I took my 92 year old mother to Genesys for a heart Catheter at 7:00 in the morning. From pre-admission to the time she went in, the staff was wonderful. They put her in a wheelchair because it is difficult for her to walk long distances. When they took her back to pre-op, they covered her with heated blankets to make sure she wasn't cold. The nurse "Steffany" was excellent in explaining everything to her making sure she understood what was going to happen. Her heart specialist, Dr. Misra, explained details to me and to my mother about the procedure. He also saw me afterwards and told me what to expect. I feel lucky to have Genesys in our town and the wonderful staff we worked with.
