The resort itself is nice. Staff are fantastic, several things to do, but with a big pricetag for some of it. Rodeo was fun, petting zoo was fun (stay away from the llama though!). Lots of wildlife. See a bald eagle on our way in.
So...We stayed at the primitive camping area. Unfortunately, we didn't know how primitive. You pick your own site in the field. We found a nice spot under a tree. However... After an hour or two of light/moderate rain, the field they put you in is underwater. Nothing but mud and puddles. Got lucky that the day we left it had dried some and I was able to get my truck out, although barely. Had to rent a golf cart to go anywhere. Yes, it's called primitive, I know, but for 50$ a night for a spot in a field, they should warn you about how bad the field floods, and maybe build some drainage?
