Dazzling experience! Javier Caramena's and Pretty Yende's performances in LA Fille du Regiment were as advertised, even better as I think back. His high Cs were encore-worthy but it was soprano Pretty Yende 's performance that was a delightful surprise. Think vocal gymnastics. Amazing! Opera at the Met is a transporting experience and this one just soared!
