Marmot is my favorite Alberta Mountain from January through to the end of the season. They get their snow later in the season but then fresh powder is easy to come by.
Get out there in the morning and enjoy quiet areas and no lines for the lifts, especially during the week! The locals like to collect for a coffee at the Paradise Chalet mid morning, and tourists start to fill the hill by mid day.
With so many lifts and runs the options are endless for whatever conditions and terrain you're into.
