Terrible customer service. The only measures worth judging an energy supplier on are price and customer experience.

The latter reflects their real brand whatever the website says.

GNE's customer service is awful. Since opting to leave them they hit me with a massive final bill, never having reached out to me to suggest I needed to make higher payments during the contract. I challenged it and it was reduced significantly but was still far higher than expected.





I would be very wary of a supplier who promises so much, doesn't manage your account properly while you are with them and then becomes aggressive when you want to leave.

11/11/2020 - RESPONDING TO THE VENDOR BELOW: They actually revised the submitted reading to a new reading of their own without consultation, so this is not the whole truth.

I am attaching a picture of the huge spike in usage they piled onto my account without explanation. There are now two complaints open with them and I have raised this with the Ombudsman. This spike represented an entire years worth of electricity above my previous norms.

If they do something like this to you, don't expect support or explanation just constant harassment followed by threatening letters.
