I'm sure the Grand Bliss and Grand Mayan are better, but the Mayan Palace left a lot to be desired from a "5 Diamond" hotel chain. The food and pool certainly are incredible, but the only way I'll come back is through another super discounted travel package where I have to sit through 3 hours of a high-pressure timeshare sales pitch. PS, nothing is included normally and if you become a member, you only get discounts on food, not all-inclusive.
