I saw the Sound of Music there when it first came out.
I am 61 now. Used to live in Avondale Estates. My dad worked at the Merchandise Mart. The Atlanta Boat Show was in the basement of the Mart and Paul Revere and the Raiders played 2 shows that night. My first rock concert.
Went back to visit the area a couple of years ago and learned again you can never go back to the way things used to be.
But I do remember the Fox and those twinkling stars on the ceiling!!
