There are several interesting exhibits about the development of Anerican money and economic issues like inflation. There is some colonial money and other bills we don't use anymore (see 3 cent paper bill) And a display of a large cube with a million one-dollar bills. You can see it all in 30 minutes or so and it's free! Plus you can say you've been someplace most Chicagoans don't even know exist (at least in my limited experience), and you get to take a bag of money (shredded ). FYI, You must show photo ID and go through airport style screening.
