WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!

My parents reached out to Community Tax "relief" in efforts to settle their debts to the IRS after experiencing extreme hardships. I am unsure how they managed to receive a five star rating based off our experience. We have had problem after problem with them since we contacted them almost a year ago. I don't see any progress being made and they charged us $3000 and then claimed the charge was for them to "investigate" rather than to assist with resolving the issue. There seems to be a tremendous lack of communication within the company because every time we hear from someone new they have no idea what year they are even working on. We were assigned a point person that we have had little to no contact with throughout the headache of a process. I feel terrible for ever recommending them to my parents and I would warn everyone you know not to waste their time and money. I think 'Community Tax Distress' is a much more suitable name. If I could give them 0 stars, I would.
