I brought in my 2017 Toyota Tacoma on October 23 with AC issues, it was determined the blower fan had cracked & needed to be replaced. I was told I would get a call in 6-7 weeks when the part came in. After 6 weeks, I decided to call myself & was told the part was in. . . Why wasn't I called??
I'm finally able to bring in my truck for the blower fan replacement on December 4. When I pick up my truck, I'm told the resistance part for the AC blew its fuse so my AC only works on the highest setting. How come this wasn't tested the first time I brought the truck in?? This part will be in 3-4 weeks. Of course 4 weeks comes & no phone call, even though I complained about not getting a phone call the first time & was guaranteed a call this next time around. I was told the part was in & made an appt for a couple days later. . . Which is today. I bring my truck in the morning & then after his lunch break I get a phone call that whoops, the part isn't actually in & probably won't be until mid next month. So I wasted my time & energy bringing the truck in for nothing!!
So now I'm going about 2 & a half months with a messed up AC & of all places, one of the most humid places to live. Not to mention, I'm 9 months pregnant now. There has been no urgency in ordering parts after all this time, which is disappointing. So now when & if the part gets in, I'll either have a newborn driving around in the highest AC setting or I'll be about to give birth with no way of getting the truck to the dealership by myself.
Thanks AK Toyota, I have no faith in your services from now on.
