I came to the E.R. with chest pain and shoulder pain due to an upcoming surgery. I spent approx 14 hrs there. I finally had to beg for something to eat because I was feeling faint. I left with no new information on my condition and in as much pain as when I dragged myself there at 4:30a.m. I was very dismayed at the lack of professionalism and lack of compassionate care.I also explained my stress over the loss of two family members 4 days ago. And my dismay over my upcoming lack of help after my shoulder surgery. She was a R.N.and could have cared less! The nurses acted like you were an interruption of their gossip sessions. Rude and callous behavior from people i went to for help.
