At 7.30 pm today the reception calls me to tell me...

At 7.30 pm today the reception calls me to tell me that they have had to close a plan and therefore have no room for us. I note booking made on 09-12-2017. This is a justification that they have already given me another time. I am in Genzano offer me an alternative hotel in Rome. But do you think it is a correct way to manage an (if true) emergency? From me you can be sure that they won't have a penny anymore. With this behavior they don't even deserve a star !!!
