Beautiful theater and a magnificent auditorium. I was in the family circle for my first opera and while it was definitely partial view, I had a very enjoyable experience. There is no food allowed in the auditorium so consume all food and beverage in the general areas. I am sharing pictures of the venue along with one of the menu the night I went. I do not know if their menu changes. I actually received the wrong sandwich but did not realize until I started consumption and there was not a lot of time to consume it after waiting in line. You may order food in advance for intermission, but I did not know about this option in advance. The dress code has drastically changed, however there is a mix in the crowd of fashionable, elegant and casual patrons. There is a restroom on almost each level and water fountains by the door. The gift shop is located next to the box office which I did not have the opportunity to check. Oh for those who do not make it back to their seat during intermission, they are not allowed back in until another intermission (posted signs)- there are warning bells so make your best judgement when preparing between the performance.
