I was very nervous to have my baby here because of all of the bad reviews on google but I decided to stay because I had really loved my doctor who was going to deliver my child and this was the only hospital she delivered at. I went with my guard high in case nurses were rude or unattentive. But once I got there the nurses were very nice extremely helpful throughout my stay. Once I had my baby he stayed with me most of the time, they only took him to run test, check ups, etc. And he was back with me in 40mins. or less, we saw him take his 1st bath, and the pediatrician on call at the hospital came to talk to me to go over the newborn screening she did on the baby. The day I left my nurse came and gave me a small cake ( courtesy of the hospital) congratulating me on my baby, a newspaper of the day my baby was born and a baby shirt that said "watch world here I am!" which was very nice of them. I love this hospital and if I plan to have more children I would pick this Bayshore again. If I had to say anything negative, it would have to be that my baby didnt take newborn picture, I asked and asked the nurses and they said that BioVideo was suppose to come and take the pictures but that they weren't affiliated with the hospital, they were their own company and they did their own thing and had their own people to come take the pictures but they never came.
