Where to start with this absolute garbage of a service department. First off, like other reviewers, I have had a horrible experience with John Hernandez in BMW service. I've left multiple messages in a single day, even explaining to the secretary that this is my 2nd/3rd time calling and still, no call back. I finally got a hold of someone and made an appointment for my wife's vehicle (on a friday). I called the day before the appointment to confirm that everything is go, and then i'm notified that their computer to read codes/check engine lights is broken, so they have to move my appointment to the following tuesday when "for sure" the computer will be fixed. I had to call to get this information, they can't think to notify customers their appointments are cancelled. Monday afternoon, 430pm I call again to confirm that my appointment is good to go for the next day. Nope, computer is still broken and they don't know when it will be fixed. I asked the service adviser, Mariah, to please call me when it's back up and running so I can get my car in ASAP. A week and a half goes by, I decide to call and check. Turns out it's working again, but they neglected calling any customers to reschedule their appointment. I ask if they can get me in ASAP as I have been waiting for weeks at this point, when they tell me they have people already scheduled, and now I have to wait till mid January to get in. The complete and absolute disregard they show for their customers is mind blowing. I've never dealt with such a horrible, unprofessional service department like the one at AK. It's a shame that a great manufacturer like BMW has a dealership like AK ruining things for people. I'm completely turned off by BMW, Toyota and Lexus now because even though they are all great cars, having to deal with AK is a nightmare. They have no concern or regard for peoples time or schedules. This horrible service will continue because they have no desire to change. Why should they improve their service, when they are the only toyota/lexus/bmw/chevy dealer and service department on island. If you have one of those cars, you are stuck with AK and horrible way they treat customers.
