It's really a shame to depths this resort has sunk to. It's good if you want a 'Hyatt experience' I know full well this will sound elitist but this is not a luxurious resort since park Hyatt took over. This is a family vacation with all that entails. Service is provided to the lowest denominator of client. Think Disney cruise rather than resort. If that's what you want go for it. Don't mistake this , though, for luxury, at least not since Four Seasons left. It's really a crime. I used to go there for many years and knew the staff very well. Many switched over to be hired by the new Park Hyatt crew and I can verify based on private conversations. They liken this as a 'Kardashian experience' as compared to their prior working environment of a true cultured guest experience. Then to make matters worse, whereas the feeling of a true resort is that you don't have to think about what you need, it is simply provided and you can relax your mind , as well as your body; this management tries to nickel and dime you to death so that you have to always be in the process of negotiating your entire stay about what service you want.
So, if you have 4 toddlers under 6 - this is the place for you!!!
For anyone who wants what is only promised here, go to the Grand Del Mar or Pelican Hill that are nearby.
