I can only speak to my experience during covid 19 but we didn't pay for anything. You could do this in one full day or two full days depending on how much you would like to read and learn. Not as fun of a destination as Disney it's certainly more educational. The only criticism I might have is that there are a lot of movies and videos which you could probably see at home. The new IMAX asteroid movie was fantastic and I highly recommend it.
