Toyota is the kindest, gentlest most amazing place! And, I dare say the best sushi I've ever had and I've frequented many sushi bars in Seattle, Berkeley, San Francisco, Manhattan and a few in London and Chiang Mai. And the quality and good humor has never waivered. Sadly, I can no longer just drop in willy nilly like I used to (though it is always pretty busy so dropping in can mean a bit of a wait) since I moved across the water but I went back for my birthday every year until recently (not because I didn't want to) and even 13 years after I was still greeted by name and welcomed back into that familiar and wonderful neighborhood / family restaurant!
