Had roaches pretty consistently throughout the year and a half we lived there, which was nasty and anxiety inducing while having infants live there, but they always sent someone out and we just kind of dealt with it. Then the neighbors moving in got worse, screaming at all hours of the day and night about doing meth and domestic violence. So we had decided to not renew.

Then, over a holiday weekend our upstairs neighbor had their toilet overflow while they weren't home. No answer from the property manager for over 3 days. We had to call out the fire department(who told us it was totally unsafe to stay there because of risk of electrocution and because the toilet water was not clean) to turn off the electricity and water and my family was without a place to stay, with no hotel rooms to be found, in the middle of the night. Long story short, they refused to fix the wet drywall which sat in the Florida heat and humidity for almost a week before the electricity was turned back on, and refused to allow us to have a mold test done before moving our family back in, with my premature babies who have asthma. We lived oUT of hotels for over a week, never knowing of we'd need a room for the next night, which severely limited our ability to comparison shop, plus the holiday week had many places booked. All along the property manager and corporate told us they would take care of hotel and food. When it came down to it they decided (after seeing all my receipts) they decided what they would actually pay for that and would 'allow' us to break the lease with no penalty instead of moving my family into an apartment with wet toilet water in the walls. We literally had to wash everything that we moved out of that place because it reeked of mild. Management does not care. They tried to tell us the walls didn't have water (weer have videos and photos) and then that the water was clean (we have the report from the fire department that says it wasn't). I honestly don't know how they can sleep at night knowing how disgusting it is in that apartment and wanting to allow my babies' health to be compromised.

If you do decide to move here, I suggest a mold test before you sign the lease. The apartment I refused to live in could be the one you get with a new coat of paint. But I would stay away if at all possible
