Came for the premiere of Cendrillon starring Joyce DiDonato, Stephanie Blythe, Alice Coote and Kathleen Kim. A wonderful production by a fabulous cast, I highly recommend it. The Met is always a wonder to visit but the exorbitant prices for intermission snacks/drinks are ridiculous even for New York standards. $8 for a cookie? Yeah, right... If the Met wants to attract younger folk and more audiences, try not being so elitist in what you offer around the opera. Opera IS for everyone. $8 cookies are not.
